By accessing or using 4divers ("the Service") — including the web app at app.4divers.app, the iOS app, or the Android app — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

4divers is an application available on web, iOS, and Android that allows scuba divers to log dives, verify and store certifications, discover dive sites and dive centers, and connect with other divers. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Account & Authentication

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the dive logs and certifications you submit. By submitting content you grant 4divers a limited license to store and display it to you within the Service. We do not sell your personal dive data to third parties.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload false certification records or impersonate other divers.
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorisation.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Dive Safety Disclaimer

4divers is a logging and discovery tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes dive training, medical advice, or dive-safety guidance. Always follow safe diving practices and dive within your certification limits. 4divers accepts no liability for incidents occurring during dives.

6. Pricing

Certain features of the Service are currently provided at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription tiers in the future. We will provide reasonable notice before any previously free features become paid.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4divers and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
